Roll up! Roll up! Black Friday proper doesn't kick off until November 29 this year, but retailers on both sides of the pond are already offering Black Friday deals on all manner of tech products, including Apple's best iPhones.
Most of the Black Friday iPhone deals I'm currently seeing in the US are plan-based discounts – Best Buy, for instance, is offering the iPhone 14 for as little as $479.99 (was $629.99) when bought with an AT&T or Verizon plan – while in the UK, device-only deals are more abundant. My pick of the latter is Laptop Direct's £879 deal on the still-excellent iPhone 15 Pro (was £999).
I'm expecting a slew of new discounts to go live later this week, but for now, I've rounded up the best Black Friday iPhone deals currently available. If you're after an iPhone 16 deal, specifically, check out our Black Friday iPhone 16 deals page.
Today's best iPhone deals in the US
- Amazon: iPhone 16 Pro from $65/mo
- Best Buy: save $150 on the iPhone 14
- Walmart: iPhone 15 Pro for $23/mo with AT&T
- Verizon: free iPad with iPhone 16 on Unlimited plan
- AT&T: up to $1,000 off iPhone 16 Pro with trade-in
- Boost Infinite: iPhone 16 plans from $65/mo
- Straight Talk: iPhone SE (2022) for $149
Apple iPhone 16: free with an unlimited plan, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
If you're looking for the standard iPhone 16, the good news is that you don't even need to trade in another device to get one for free right now at Verizon. Eligible with a new line on an Ultimate Unlimited plan, you'll be saving a massive $829 ($23.05/mo for 36 months) on device costs here. In addition, Verizon is also throwing in an iPad 10.9 (yes, a whole iPad) and an Apple Watch Series 10. Note, however, that you will need to pay an additional accessory cellular line ($10/mo) if you want to claim the free iPad, as well as a one-time activation fee of $35. A similar deal is also available on the iPhone 16 Plus right now.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with an unlimited plan, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
If you're interested in the Pro models, you'll also find great deals on the iPhone 16 Pro at Verizon right now. There are two options for getting a discount on the phone here; a new line on an Ultimate Unlimited plan will automatically drop the price from $27.77/mo to $0/mo, but you can also trade in for a maximum rebate of up to $1,000 (and not be beholden to the Ultimate plan). Both deals effectively cover the entire cost of the device, and you can also bundle in that iPad and Apple Watch Series 10 (again, for free), as with the deal on the standard iPhone 16 above. A similar offer is also available on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in at AT&T
AT&T's latest iPhone 16 Pro deal offers excellent trade-in rebates of up to $1,000 alongside an eligible unlimited data plan of $75.99/mo and up. Available for both new and existing customers, the trade-in criteria needed to get the full rebate is particularly generous at this carrier right now. According to the fine print, you'll need a trade-in value of at least $230 to get either the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max for free, and at least $130 to score the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus for as little as $3.62/mo.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro: save $200 with an AT&T plan at Walmart
Walmart has slashed the device-only price of the excellent iPhone 15 Pro from $1,049 to $849 ahead of Black Friday ($23.59/mo over 36 months). You'll need to purchase a suitable AT&T plan to qualify for the saving, but if you're not yet convinced by the iPhone 16 and still fancy taking Apple Intelligence for a spin, this is a great-value handset that'll remain supported with updates until at least 2028.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max: save $200 with a Verizon plan at Walmart
As with the iPhone 15 Pro, Walmart is also offering the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max for a cut price ahead of Black Friday. For this deal, you'll need to purchase a suitable Verizon plan to qualify for the saving, but a $29/mo device-only price is quite remarkable considering that the iPhone 15 Pro Max cost almost double that figure only a year or so ago (even before adding a data plan on top).
Best Buy has knocked a whopping $150 off the price of the iPhone 15 ahead of Black Friday, though you'll have to purchase a new Verizon or AT&T plan to qualify for the discount. The cheapest right now is $65/mo (or $75/mo until you enroll in paperless billing) plus a $35 activation fee. Sure, that's not exactly cheap, but Best Buy's $150 discount on the device itself makes this iPhone 15 deal one of the best around ahead of Black Friday itself. You can trade in your existing device for an even bigger saving, too, and a similar deal is available on the larger iPhone 15 Plus.
As with the standard iPhone 15, Best Buy is offering $150 off the price of the iPhone 14 if you sign up for a new Verizon or AT&T plan. The cheapest right now is $65/mo (or $75/mo until you enroll in paperless billing) plus a $35 activation fee. A similar deal is available on the iPhone 14 Plus, though that device is the subject of an unlocked, device-only deal, too (see below).
Best Buy is offering a sim-free iPhone 14 Plus for just $679.99 ahead of Black Friday, or an even better $579.99 if you buy the phone alongside selected Verizon or AT&T plans. We're less critical of the iPhone 14 Plus versus the standard iPhone 14 given its mightily impressive battery credentials and gorgeous, Pro Max-sized screen, and there's also no iPhone 13 Plus to directly compare it to. You'll get the Dynamic Island and a 48MP camera from the more expensive iPhone 15 Plus, but if you can forgo those features, then the iPhone 14 Plus for $679.99 (or even $579.99!) is a strong pre-Black Friday deal.
If you're simply looking for a capable iPhone to tide you over for the next few years, Straight Talk's excellent iPhone SE (2022) deal could be for you. With the iPhone 13 mini now dead and buried, the iPhone SE (2022) is essentially the best small phone that's still available from Apple. Its design may be outdated, but the internal specs remain strong. You can pick up the phone for just $149 right now from Straight Talk directly or via Walmart's Straight Talk partnership; in either case, you'll need to select a monthly plan (the cheapest right now is $35/mo).
Today's best iPhone deals in the UK
- Amazon: £50 off all iPhone 14 models
- Argos: record-low iPhone 13 prices
- Currys: iPhone 16 from £32/mo
- EE: iPhone 13 for £449
- Sky: iPhone 15 from £23/mo
- Three: 50% off iPhone 16 for 12 months
- Giffgaff: iPhone 16 for £779 with any plan
- iD Mobile: iPhone 15 for £34.99/mo
- Laptops Direct: iPhone 15 Pro for £879
Giffgaff's pre-Black Friday iPhone 16 promotion is rare in that it saves you money on the device itself, as well as on data (you'll get extra data on various plans for no extra cost). To qualify for the £50 saving, you'll just need to add a monthly plan costing £10 or more. You can also split the device cost over 36 months, so in theory, the best possible iPhone 16 deal here is £30.95/mo for 60GB of data with a £25 upfront payment.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: £44.99/mo at iD Mobile
Carphone Warehouse is currently offering a Black Friday deal on iD Mobile's 24-month iPhone 16 Pro plan. For just £44.99/mo and £39 upfront, you'll get a whopping 500GB of data, which is quintuple (5x) the usual 100GB offering. iD Mobile itself also has various discounts on monthly plans, albeit with higher upfront fees than this Carphone Warehouse deal.
Laptops Direct has slashed the device-only price of the excellent iPhone 15 Pro from £999 to £879 ahead of Black Friday. If you're not yet convinced by the iPhone 16 and still fancy taking Apple Intelligence for a spin, this is a great-value handset that'll remain supported with updates until at least 2028. For more storage, similar deals are available on the 256GB (now £999) and 512GB (now £1,119) models.
Apple iPhone 15: £34.99/mo at iD Mobile
Another great iD Mobile promotion here: you can pick up the iPhone 15 for just £34.99/mo (was £36.99/mo) and £19 upfront on a 24-month plan. For that price, you'll get 10GB of data and unlimited everything else. If you want more data, similar deals are available on 100GB and Unlimited plans, albeit with higher upfront fees. iD Mobile is currently offering discounted monthly plans for the iPhone 15 Plus, too.
Amazon continues to knock £50 off the price of the iPhone 14 ahead of Black Friday. This device has been as low as £539 once before, and it may drop to that level again on Black Friday proper, but £549 is still a pretty great deal on a device that cost £699 just a year ago. We would always recommend going for the iPhone 13 over the iPhone 14 – their designs are identical, their cameras are (almost) identical and their chipsets are separated by just one generation – but with the iPhone 13 now harder to come by following Apple's discontinuation of the device, the iPhone 14 is an evermore appealing option (the iPhone 13 is, however, still available at Argos).
Despite its discontinuation, Argos is still stocking the 128GB iPhone 13 in black or white. £449 is an exceptional price on an iPhone that is, for all intents and purposes, the same device as the iPhone 14, and it'll continue to be supported by Apple with software updates until at least 2026 (likely 2027). The iPhone 13 is also currently still available at Amazon, albeit in more limited color and storage configurations.
If you're looking for the cheapest possible iPhone on the market right now (one that's worth buying, that is), Laptop Direct's £299 deal on the iPhone SE (2022) is hard to beat. This phone's design may be outdated, but the internal specs remain strong, and it'll continue to be supported with software updates until at least 2027 (likely 2028).

Black Friday iPhone deals: FAQs
When will the Black Friday iPhone deals start in 2024?
Black Friday officially takes place on November 29 this year, but several Black Friday iPhone deals are already live in both the US and UK. As for how long they'll last, Cyber Monday takes place on December 2, but iPhone deals will likely remain active throughout the pre-Christmas period.
Is Black Friday the best time to buy an iPhone?
Apple's best iPhones are rarely cheap, but Black Friday does see some bargains surface from both carriers and retailers selling unlocked iPhones. However, if you're expecting to find a hugely discounted iPhone 16 Pro Max, you may be left disappointed, as we don't expect to see the latest phones get big deals (unless they're part of expensive monthly plans). Rather, Black Friday can be a great time to buy an older iPhone for well below its launch price, and that's already proving to be the case in 2024.
What Black Friday iPhone deals should I expect?
Some carriers are already offering compelling discounts on both the iPhone 16 range and last-generation models, or at least attractive bundles. For unlocked phones, the best deals are coming to older models (think the iPhone SE, iPhone 15, iPhone 14) at the likes of Amazon, Best Buy, Currys, and Argos.
